As a teacher, you can use Google Sites to:
Share resources and information: You can create a website to share resources and information with your students, parents, and colleagues. This can include class schedules, assignments, handouts, and other materials that you want to make available online.
Create a portfolio: You can use Google Sites to create a portfolio of your work as a teacher. This can include lesson plans, student work, and reflections on your teaching practice.
Collaborate with others: Google Sites allows you to collaborate with others, so you can work on your website together with your colleagues, students, or parents.
Customize your website: Google Sites provides a variety of templates and design elements that you can use to customize your website. You can add images, videos, and other multimedia to make your website more engaging and visually appealing.
Stay organized: Google Sites can help you stay organized by providing a central location for all of your teaching materials. You can organize your website by topics, units, or any other way that makes sense for you.
Students as Collaborators
Students are comfortable making a poster, drawing or slides. It is time to push them out of the comfot zone and ask them to do something that they may not have experience with. Google makes collaborating on projects easy by allowing students to all edit a site at the same time. Think about the oppurtunities you can unlock by asking students to work on a long term project with thier peers.
